Halfway Through Tiling and Garage Doors are in!

The tiler is half way through, tiling really is an art, the patience they must have! Garage doors were fitted today and downpipes and fascias have had their first coat of paint. The front window is finally in, and looking good! The shed has also been approved by council which is good news! But most of all the grass is growing!

House is at Lock Up Stage

Plastering, Ceilings, Windows, Cabinetry and Benchtops are complete and we're now into the finer details. Tiling is due to be finished in three weeks and our expected handover date is end of June. Hmmmmmm still lots to do!

Roof complete, Verandahs are up and Plastering has started!

The roof and verandahs are now up. The wood has been stained and plastering is on it's way to completion. Ceiling arrived today!

It's looking good, just like a home rather than a construction site. So close but still so far away,
well it feels like it anyway. Really hanging out to move in now!

Walls are done and roof has commenced!

Unfortunately having the roof completed by Christmas was a little eager, but needless to say it’s progressing well.

The house was definitely high on topics of conversation over the Christmas break. Which in our case always seems to lead to more money.

From increasing the wall tiling, to upgrading basins and additional electrical, a very expensive conservation indeed.

On a different note, we seem to be growing watermelons.

Walls are almost done, fire place is in, white picket fence is complete and Bailey approves!

Walls are 99% up and front fence is complete. We can also finally take a tour of through each of the rooms. The fire place is installed and our supervisor tells us the roof will be up by Christmas, so let’s see. Oh and most importantly Bailey enjoyed visiting his soon to be new home.   

Front Fence and Walls of House Are Coming Up Nicely

How things are coming along nicely. Walls are one third up. And after having second thoughts about the bricks, we are now at ease, they look really good.
Front fence is also almost there, hopefully by the end of next week it will be finished.
